Problem:

Land Rover EGR valves become blocked up with carbon deposits which effects the engines performance and power delivery.
The EGR takes exhaust gasses back through the manifold and these tend to leave the hot coked deposits on the manifold.
For only TD5 Engines Engines: TD5 with or without EGR cooler. Land rover: Discovery 2 Defender Diesel Only

Symptoms:

Rough engine running, throttle lag, loss of power, black smoke from exhaust, poor mpg and potentially stalling.

Fault Codes:

You will sometimes get EGR related fault codes if the valve is fairly coked.

Solution:

I6automotive has manufactured a cost effective solution. A brand new bypass valve which has no moving parts. Precision manufactured and finished in a matte black to blend in with your engine trim.
Increase your MPG and throttle response for better performance and torque!
Supplied with the correct rubber gasket and replacement bolts for installation.
