Problem:
The plastic bushes found on the manifold bar begin to fracture due to thermal stress. This eventually causes the rod to begin popping off hampering engine performance and running smoothness.

Symptoms:
Poor or lumpy idling. Poor torque low down where the intake manifold is controlled by the swirl flaps. EML, high fuel consumption, smoke from exhaust.

Solution:
I6automotive has manufactured a cost effective solution. Using our surgical instrument manufacturing skills, we have designed replacement bushes that can be a straight substitute for the weak plastic bushes found on the original manifold. Simply chip the plastic bushes off the bar and screw our machined bushes on.
