Almost 2 years after revealing first photos of updated Evoque, Land Rover officially presented the second generation model. The new product is similar to the new Range Rover Velar. As it was mentioned by the company, externally new Evoque differs from the old version only with a slightly modified optics on LEDs, modified bumpers and rear lights, which previously had an overlay between. For the exterior, designers have developed two new colors: the warm silver shade of Seoul Pearl Silver and the metallic Nolita Gray. The transfer of the Evoque to the new platform also made it possible to equip the crossover with hybrid power plants. The model will be available in the "soft" hybrid version, which will include a 4-cylinder engine, 48-volt electric and a hybrid component, which will allow a 296-strong power plant to recover the braking energy.

The car is equipped with the world's first technology ClearSight Ground View, which provides the driver with a 180-degree virtual overview of the space. ClearSight Ground View uses video cameras (with a hydrophobic coating that repels water and dirt) in the grille and side mirrors to display a picture of the multimedia system in front of the car and under the bottom in front. Moreover, the rear view mirror can be transformed into a video screen. A special camera allows you to see everything happening behind the car on the mirror, even if the passengers are blocking the rear window.
The model was the first Land Rover with Smart Settings technology, which analyzes the habits of the owner. The system learns about its approach and adjusts the position of the seat and steering wheels by presetting. After several trips, the car "remembers" preferred settings for temperature, multimedia and the most frequently dialed phone numbers. The owner will also be able to track the location of his car, remotely close or open it, check the level of remaining fuel and cool or warm the cabin from a smartphone in the InControl Remote application.
Range Rover Evoque received more than 217 international awards, and sales of this model reached 772,096 vehicles worldwide.
