Roll cage number L172.  8 point multi-point bolt-in full external/internal roll cage.  Mounts to the chassis at 6 external points. Internal B hoop mounts at 2 points.

Front legs mount through front wings down to chassis outrigger.  B hoop mounts to the vehicle floor above chassis outrigger. 

C hoop ties in to rear door shut assembly.  D hoop ties to rear chassis cross member.

As per L242 but with an internal B hoop.

Please note that models between 1983 - 1988 had three raised ribs on the roof approx 22mm (7/8") tall. This kind of roof does not work with our external roll cages as the hoops will clash with them.  Nor will it fit if the rear seat box is stepped in the rear corner.  For clarification, please CLICK HERE to go to the ECR website.
