Problem:
BMW use cast iron flanges on their stainless steel exhaust, so whilst the exhaust has a very long service life, the flanges that connect the mid section to the back box doesn't. BMWs solution is to offer a brand new exhaust as the flanges can't be replaced easily as the end of the pipes are flared.

Symptoms:
Usually fails due to a blowing exhaust, most likely at the time of MOT.

Solution:
Our solution is our half split flanges that fit over the existing exhaust. Casted from stainless steel meaning you'll be backed by a lifetime i6 warranty.

Please note that on fitting that you may need to grind off 1-2mm from the inner clamp for the wider backbox pipe. Usually the clamp will fit over but for some M3s you will need to grind the clamp slightly to match the holes.

This is very rare, usually nothing needs to be ground off and it should fit straight depending the condition of your exhaust but do keep the above in mind as your may have to grind. If you don't have access to do the above then our kit won't be suitable.
