Problem:
Plastic parts within the DISA Valve have begun to break down.
Poor quality materials used with poor manufacturing processes has meant that it is common for the plastic to weaken overtime and eventually fracturing off causing parts to fall into the intake manifold. The end pin also has a knack for coming undone and falling out, again this will be into the manifold. Once this happens the engine will require a rebuild.

Symptoms:
Poor or lumpy idling.
Poor torque low down where the intake manifold is usually shortened by the flap closing.
Vacuum leaks where the o-ring has worn causing air to be sucked in.
Loud ticking noises coming from the DISA valve, a usual sign of the bell crank wearing down and breaking up.

P1083,P1085,P1090,P1092,P1087,P1089,P0311,P0316,P0174, SES Lights and various Lean Codes
Solution:
I6automotive has manufactured a cost effective solution.
Using our surgical manufacturing skills, we have honed out a brand new solid Aluminium flap, bell crank and redesigned the DISA valve so that the retaining pin is left out and replaced with a long threaded screw instead.
